    We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven Senior Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions for North America to lead and grow our investment activities in this region. This is a critical role responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing acquisition transactions across various asset classes, with a primary focus on multifamily, office, industrial, and retail properties.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition strategy for North America, targeting strategic markets and asset classes with strong growth potential.

    Actively source, screen, and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and relationships with brokers, owners, and developers.

    Lead the negotiation and structuring of complex transactions, including financial analysis, due diligence, legal review, and closing.

    Collaborate with internal teams such as Asset Management, Finance, and Legal to ensure smooth acquisition and integration of new properties.

    Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including brokers, developers, and investors.

    Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities to inform investment decisions and strategy.

    Provide regular updates to the executive team and board of directors on acquisition progress, pipeline, and market trends.

    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.

    Minimum of 15 years of experience in real estate investment, development, or acquisitions, with a proven track record in the North American market.

    Extensive network and relationships with key stakeholders in the North American real estate market.

    Strong financial acumen, including advanced financial modeling and underwriting skills.

    Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Proven ability to lead a high-performing team and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Willingness to travel frequently across North America.

     AT SODA YOU WILL:


    Perform project management logistical and administrative duties to ensure that project work is handled in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.

    Collaborate with the Design Manager to develop a design concept/mood and execution plan from the concept phase through openings.

    Ensure all project designs meet Soda brand standards.

    Partner with the Standards team to identify and select products that meet brand standards.

    Assist Development and Design Managers to plan, execute, and control projects.

    Work closely with Merchandising, Sourcing and Procurement to generate and manage FF&E matrices and supply chain.

    Monitor design execution during Openings to ensure the design concept is maintained through project installation.

    Maintain regional databases and information flow, ensuring project information is communicated to key stakeholders. 

    Work cross-functionally with city teams, guest experience/operations, brand, tech/product, architecture/construction, legal, and real estate to see projects from concept to opening. 

    Prepare monthly project reports and consistently communicate project status to all relevant stakeholders on both HQ and city teams. 

     WHAT WE LOOK FOR:


    Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

    Minimum 5 years in high-end Hospitality, Residential, Commercial and/or Retail Interior Design

    Extremely organized and able to coordinate information and tasks for multiple projects.

    Experience working with both technical (e.g., building IT, tech/product) and non-technical (e.g., operations, legal, interior design) teams.

    Maintenance Techs at Soda are responsible for helping to deliver a flawless guest experience. They’re detail-oriented individuals who love checklists and are capable of attending to our units at flexible times. Maintenance Technicians are efficient with their time, quick learners and excited to get their hands dirty. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being on their feet versus sitting at a desk all day!


    AT SODA YOU WILL:


    Complete a variety of tasks related to maintenance of guest spaces and rooms, including troubleshooting and light repairs - plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, structural features

    Complete periodic maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other building and room equipment

    Perform handyman repairs to a high level finish in guest rooms and guest spaces. Including furniture, doors, windows and other hardware

    Ensure adherence to all relevant federal and local guidelines for safety and productivity including, OSHA, ADA and other required regulations

    Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair or installation

    Coordinate, meet and support our 3rd party contractors including  painters, wallpaper installers, furniture builders, photographers, housekeepers, and other specialized trades

    Conduct thorough apartment walkthroughs and maintenance checks

    Organize and document project information and updates

    Instruct and supervise contractors as they paint, build furniture, hang art, photograph and clean

    Travel to various buildings/cities as required

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR:


    Minimum 2  years of experience working in operations and maintenance

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Strong knowledge of skilled trades, such as HVAC, electrical or carpentry

    Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

    Certifications in operations and maintenance examples. carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing is a plus
